The ENTRY-DM supervisory board will meet regularly in person at network-wide training events. The primary responsibilities of the SB include: Overseeing implementation of the research and training programme, approving major changes to project direction or structure, m onitoring progress and deliverables across work packages,  addressing risks and conflicts within the consortium and ensuring alignment with MSCA and Horizon Europe requirements After each meeting, minutes will be provided here.

  

FIRST MANAGEMENT MEETING: 16 April 2025

The first ENTRY-DM management meeting took place during the kickoff meeting held in Munich, Germany on April 16 and 17, 2025. 

The first day of the meeting was devoted to: 

- An overview of the consortium

- A review of action points regarding training, scientific aims, dissemination and communication

- A review of the various project boards

- Establishment of the supervisory board

- A discussion of the recruitment strategy

- Budget and financial aspects

- Ethics and scientific integrity  

- A review of the project calendar and deliverables 

Day two was devoted to supervisor training. This session was offered by Adoc Talent Management and covered topics including :

-  MSCA supervision guidelines

- Preventing conflicts

- Managing DC motivation

- Handling challenges such as impostor syndrome

- Ethics and scientific integrity

- Preparing DCs for their future careers

This training was an excelent mix of interactive workshops and  presentations with references to existing literature about these topics.       

 

 

second MANAGEMENT MEETING: 29 january 2026

The second ENTRY-DM management meeting took place during the first network-wide training event held in Paris, France from January 26-30. 

On January 29th, representatives from all beneficiary institutions, members of the supervisory board and all DCs met to discuss the following points: 

-Researcher mobility declarations, PhD enrolment and personal career development plans. 

- Submitted and upcoming milestones and deliverables.

- Research and reporting responsibilities for DCs.

- Supervision responsibilities for PIs.

-Upcoming training events and the anticipated calendar.

- Data management and open science.

- Ethics and compliance.  

- Communication channels.

- Support and wellbeing of DCs.

- Identification of DC representatives for the supervisory board. Panagiotis Strevinas and Valeriia Gorbunova accepted the role for the first year.  

DCs were encouraged to engage actively with the wider network through collaborations and to bring any additional training needs or issues to the attention of the supervisory board.
