ONLINE TRAINING

ONLINE TRAINING 1: MARCH 2026

The first online training event took place on 19 and 26 March 2026.

On March 19, two presentations were given to the DC group:

1) Florian Naudet (Unijversity of Rennes): Research ethics in health projects and reproducibility of therapeutic research

2) Maria Rujano et Marta del Alamo (ECRIN): FAIR Data & Data Sharing in Biomedical Research

On March 26, three presentations were given:

1) Géraldine Liot and Gwenaelle Andre (Femmes et Science): Gender equality, diversity and inclusion  and gender bias

2) Catherine  Winchester (CRUK Scotland Institute): Research integrity and establishing good research practices

3) Mario Gomes Pereira: My journey into science

A short debrief with the DCs followed the online training and feedback was very positive. In particular, they appreciated the questionnaires shared in advance for the EDI Awareness session, which helped them prepare and engage more deeply, as well as the interactive format of the presentations and especially the use of practical and concrete examples. They expressed a preference for dividing online training into 2 half days rather than one full day to avoid screen burnout.
